Organization Description : South Central Prevention Coalition (SCPC) is a vision made reality by our Founder and former Executive Director, Ms. Sharon Blackburn (2000 -2018). SCPC started as a project of the Community Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment. It was initialized to combat the prevailing alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse problems that were present in several low-to-moderate income housing developments in South Central Los Angeles.
